From our first tentative steps on the ice back in 2002, we have been teaching children and young adults with additional needs to ice skate in a calm and caring environment.
Each Sunday throughout the year, Our ice skating lessons take place at the SilverBlades temporary ice rink in Montem lane, Slough between 11:00am to 12:30pm.
SPICE runs several ability groups which allows our members the best opportunity to develop their skating abilities.
SPICE employs NISA (National Ice Skating Association) coaches who all have gained lots of experience in teaching children and young adults with additional needs over the years. With volunteers on hand to support both our newer members and anyone needing a helping hand, membership is always in demand and we are currently running a waiting list.
SPICE takes safeguarding issues very seriously – we review and update our policy as appropriate on an annual basis.
