Another great SPICE Sunday is in the bag!
The morning started off with SPICE member, Richard’s dad, arriving in a beautiful new 5.0 Ford Mustang convertible!!
Synchro highlights included Vivi being lifted by John in Team SPICE.
We have half the routine nailed! Just need Annie and Ryan to choreograph the final minute!
Racheta came back from six weeks in India and skated like she had never been away!
Ricci met up with a lovely man called Terry who travelled all the way from Lee Valley ice rink. Terry’s daughter, Rio has given Team SPICE some beautiful dresses to enable us to skate at Lee Valley Synchro championship! #excited!
In other news, we celebrated SPICE mum and on ice volunteer, Sarah’s birthday! We always love birthday sweets!
In ice hockey, we decided to spend the session running scrimmage sessions. Young Dylan scored his first goal!! That was a missed camera moment from the look on his face when he scored and we think that goal will have made his week!
Our Hockey coach Nic’s son, Alfie, scored two great goals!! ( chip off the old block!)
New goalie, Luke is loving it in goal and made some great saves: not sure his mum is loving all the extra hockey pads that need carrying to the rink!
All in all, a great SPICE session!
We really have to thank our on ice volunteers who come every week to help our members and without them, SPICE wouldn’t work!
And now we need to really start rehearsing our number for the Christmas show at SilverBlades Slough!!
