1st January 2017 got off to a fine start when SPICE secretary, Jo Hodgson, was presented with a cheque for £800 from the Keep family from sales of sweets, teas and coffees and recycling clothes!
For many months, Kay Keep and her family have been selling sweets and making teas and coffees during SPICE sessions at the now closed Slough ice rink along with organising the recycling of unwanted clothes.
With just three months before our SPICE Jets attend the Special Hockey tournament in Canada, this money is extremely useful.
Jo hodgson commented ‘this is such a fantastic achievement and we are so grateful to the Keep family for this fantastic support’
